sorry about the caps.
Dad got nail with West Nile Virus last August. Most likely he will never drive again, and I dont have the resources to maintain her. Otherwise she would be with me when my house is completed in Florence, KY.

Hopefully it doesn't sell, because then it will be in "storage" with my down in KY.

I have, but right now. If I were to have the car, it would sit in a plastic bubble in my garage.

Is the same car that was listed here last fall?

http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show....php?t=1465583

Similar car and now the tri-power has been added.

Either way, I hope things work out for you and Dad. Good luck.

Thanks, but no. It's a different car.

We had 3 poeple come to the house and look at it. One guy said "I'll give you $50k cash, because it's not black, and I want to paint it black"

Another clown said he loved the car, and really wanted it. But it was out of his price range. But if it were a 427/435 car, he would drop the cash no problem.

Have people become this cheap? The add is plain and simple. It describes the colors, it says what the engine is. Why come over and complain that it's not the right color or the right engine for you?

Sorry, just tired and frustrated.

We're also selling my parents house, and dealing with people who want a house with a pool. But the pool isnt the "exact shape" they want, so they want $30k off the house.

Keep your chin up.....

you've got a really nice car and the price is in the right asking range - still got some wiggle room in there. These things take time. Not like going to the car lot and guy pressures you into making a deal right away. There's a good solid buyer out there and as the details of the car make the rounds they'll appear. It's listed at the right time of the year also.... think about selling it in February.

The pool with the house is also the good new/bad news. I sold a house in Jersey with a pool after 9 months on the market. People wanted the house, but no pool. They liked the pool, but didn't want 5 bedrooms.....aggggghhhh. Drove me crazy. Finally sold it to a retired couple who liked the neighborhood and I think didn't even see the pool in the back yard - even crazier

But hang in, and remember that you're doing the right thing for the right people in your life.

This guy has been calling for the last two weeks about the car. He came over this afternoon. Argued with me that there was no possible way that the restoration took place back in 1989. He was convinced that it was done within the last 5 yrs.
Then he really fell off the rocker when he said "Nah, I know this car. My friend painted it."..........You know how many car shows I have been told "My friend painted this car" then he proceeds to puke up some guys name, that doesnt even come close to the guy who painted it.
I said "Thanks for swinging by, I have to get dinner started"

He became all flustered and wished me luck in selling it, because the most he would give me is $15k because it's been in a wreck.

Makes me wonder how some people wake up every day and breathe on their own.
