Default 56 Project Car for Sale

I've decided to sell my 56 project and buy a restored car. It is a 59K mile original car that was hit in the nose and parked over 40 years ago. It needs total extensive restoration. A new nose was installed but never finsihed. Pad # is 0402349F56FG Automatic with 3720991 Block. The Dual Quads still have the 2419S and 2362S Tags attached. The 9 Fins have the original Phillips Head Screws holding them in place on the original Aluminum Intake. It has a power top and no hardtop. The nose looks like it was hit on a 45% angle behind the right front wheel in the area of the battery tray. The Frame looks slightly tweaked in that area. The passenger floor and firewall in that area need some serious glass work. Top, Rugs and Seat Covers are very tired originals from the factory and will need to be replaced. It is missing some parts and probably 85% complete. The Car is located on the east coast and I really do not want to get into any long term long distance tire kicker relationships. I am looking to get a serious offer over 20 if possible as I already have my eye on another car. I will not post photos so serious lookers can send me a PM and I will give you my e-mail. Thanks!

Why are all the good deals on the east side and all the "flippers " on the west side--20K --too low bud-- Glenn

Default 56 project

And to answer a few more questions;
I am missing all the small gauges except the tack.
The radio is also missing. I do not have the original
wheels, hubcaps and steering wheel. The only front
chrome I have is the grille. The rear crossmenber is rotted
out on one end. The frame looks rusty but solid enough for use.
I checked it out in a bunch of places with a ball peen
and it is still solid and not crusty-cancerous. The power top
mechanics look complete. Any other questions please feel free
to send me a PM. Thanks to the people who make this
site available. I do appreciate it!

Default 56 project for sale

This Car is still for sale. I'm hoping now that the cold weather is here I might find someone seriously looking for a long term restoration project.
