1959 Corvette straight Hole valve covers no mold drffect seam
Looking for a 1959 Corvette straight holes valve covers (pair) with no mold defect seams on the letter O. Mine has the straight holes with the mold defect which is not correct for a 1959. If you have a pair that want to sell please let me know and send me photos. Prefer originals new or used. After markets ones do not have sharp letters.
Thank you
Thank you

'59 valve covers
Are you sure you need straight holes for your '59? (I thought they were still staggered for '59)
Let me know if you need staggered, since I have two new sets.

Dan and Rick thank you so much for your reply. I already found a pair on Ebay that I bought. They do not have the mold line and they have straight holes. The valve cover for 1959s were staggered until about the middle of the production year then GM switched to straight holes. Mine is mid production thus straight holes.

Noland Adams reported that the valve covers and heads changed starting in March 1959 and listed serial number J59S106671 as the first '59 built with straight holes (12 to 6 o'clock) bolt holes. Unless you have the RPO higher horsepower 283 versions, the stamped metal valve covers were OEM on the base. I personally like the aluminum 7-fin covers over the orange cans, but each has his/her preference. I own a 59e model built in Nov. 58.
