I just got my Diamondback goldline tires for my '65. They are a brand new product - radial with "piecrust" edge that looks like a bias ply. Great look, balanced with minimum weights, drive nice - highly recommend.
many thanks, kent . . . can you tell me which specific tire you ordered and the cost for all four? as i understand it, they take a third-party's tire (e.g., Michelin), remove the lettering from the sidewall, and then add the gold stripe. so, they don't manufacture tires, they cosmetically change tires . . . is that right?
I just got my Goldlines from Diamondback last week. I bought their Auburn Premium tire 205/75/15. I think they’ve got as close of vintage bias-ply look as could be expected. $1150 shipped to AZ and it took about a month.

That's the ones - they are a new tire specifically manufactured by Diamondback - not like their other models where they use an existing radial. $1150 shipped to KC.
Sorry - just checked the invoice - they are Auburn Deluxe and the size is 670x15 - they have the piecrust look and are a brand new mold.
