Default C1 Dual 4bbl Intake #3739653 (57-up)

Ideally dated August, September or October 1957. Preferably a unit free of repairs, etc.

I just picked mine up today and no date code any where on top unless it is under the oil splash shield. If it is under the splash shield, why worry about it?

yup struggling to see it But found some numbers and a dash under there...can make out -24 but that’s not enough. Will it be a two digit year?

The next logical question , " is it the factory assembled manifold to this particular serial numbered car ? " Could this be a contention for the ultra serious numbers matching professional ? Not a restamp disqualification but none the less a deficiency worth disclosure. Its getting to a point with inspections labeling various award captions , the ultimate goal of high dollar / blue chip investments claiming a title of perfection.
