Default Brake Line Advice/Help

Hi all! I took the 65 in to the shop a week or so ago to have some things checked out. While the car was up on the lift the mechanic noticed a crimp in the front-to-rear brake line just ahead of the block where the lines split off. I'd like to replace that line but in looking at the manuals (63,65) and the AIM it looks to me like a correct replacement can only be done with the body lifted. Is that the case? If so, what are the options for replacing the line without raising the body? Attach it to upper inside of frame????
Appreciate any feedback ya'll might offer!
Thanks
Dave Z

Sorry folks! Wrong place to post this!
