wtb 202 heads
#2
GM didn't come out with the 2.02 heads till the 365 and 375 hp motors came out in 1964.
Don't be ashamed of the little 1.94's. They flow well especially when they don't get shrouded by the chamber wall as much as the 2.02.
Could be a 63 dated head for the 64 but certainly not in 62. Many re-builders add the larger valves. Typically re-builders don't machine the chamber wall like GM did with the factory 2.02. Kills the flow so with out the machine work on the chambers I would stay with the 1.94.
If you want HP buy the Vortech heads, BTW they make lots more hp and only have the 1.94 intake valves.
