Default Needing Brass fitting

I am in need of a brass elbow 1/4 N.P.T. by 3/8 tubing. This part goes to the back of my carb on my 62, 327 with 250 h/p with power glide transmission. This tubing is used as vacuum to my p/g trans. I tried my local parts house and the book they have does not show this application. Thanks to all in advance who can help.

I don't know about an original part for this application, but there are generic brass fittings and elbows available for just about any combination of pipe thread, tube size, flare fitting, AN fitting, compression fitting, etc. out there.

For example, what you describe matches an Edelmann #122640, Everco #400E, Weatherhead #402x6. A quick Google search or knowing what brand your local parts store stocks should help. Here are a couple links for the Edelmann part to get you started:
