WTB: '59 Ignition shielding
My buddy is looking for a nice set of ignition shielding for his '59 which he recently restored. It doesn't have to be show quality but not junk either.
Thanks

Joseph,
I've got a nice set I removed from a '59 restomod project I have just begun. I do not have it all removed from the engine yet but I beleive it is all there. It has a small dimple on the top piece and some chrome missing on one of the side pieces. Let me know if this may be of interest to you. I still need to clean it up and take some pictures.

I have the top distributor shield, looks practically NOS, though I wouldn't attest to that. I'd sell it for $200. Has the messy welds, hammered edges, etc. This is the regular top shield (not FI). If interested, let me know and I will post a pic.

Now that I take it out of the box, it is not NOS, but very nice driver quality. You can see some etching inside and the holes have had bolts in them. Would polish up near perfect. Here is a link to the album on photobucket.

Joseph, is your buddy looking for original or repro? I have repro top in good condition that I removed from my car a month ago when I purchased a used original. I would sell it for $50 plus shipping.

3310vette: he's probably open to a good quality repro, depending what the difference is. As you can imagine, he wants to maintain an original look to his "59 that right now has no shielding...but cost is a factor.
Thank you, I'll let him know.
