64 Muncie M21 trans, for sale
Hi,
I'm selling the original trans from my 64 Corvette. It has about 30k miles on it and was completely restored recently. I'm asking $1375 for the trans. I have photos if you are interested. Contact me at 951-719-4505.

Hi,
I'm sure this is an M21. It came in my car (which was a factory fuel injected car, with 3.70 posi and the M21 option). I've owned the car since 1970. The M21 trans has a single groove in the input shaft, which designates it's a close ratio. The case and assembly date are correct for my car. I also have the original sales literature which shows that the close ratio was an option.
The trans was stored in my garage for allmost 40 years. It was completely restored several years ago, new synchros, seals, bearings and the counter gear was bushed in the case). We decided to try vintage road racing and bought an Autogear M22. The trans has been sitting on a shelf....

Hi Red Vette Racer,
I see your car is prepared as it would have been raced in the mid 70's. We raced our 64 in the mide 70's and we restored it to that vintage. We're in our 4th year of vintage racing with VARA now and looking forward to next year. Hope you're having fun with your car... Hopefully we'll get a chance to race at some of the mid west events.
