I have a used set of 6.70 x 15 bias ply wide whitewall tires for sale. I bought these from Coker about 6 years ago and they have about 6000 miles on them. The white wall measures 3-1/4" and showed about 3" when mounted. They are marked "Firestone Deluxe Champion" and "Gum Dipped" and "6.70 x 15" on the sidewall as the pictures show. These came off of my 1956 Thunderbird and I used them when I used to have the car judged. I had a set of original wirebasket wheel covers with the spring clips and as you can see in the pictures, the clips and edge of the wirebaskets left a groove in the sidewall. This did not affect the integrity of the tire, but it is a cosmetic blemish which I am pointing out and have shown closeups of in the pictures. No surprises - I want to disclose these blemishes. You can also see the DOT stamp on the backside. While no longer top show quality, these would still be fine for your driver. I have a closeup of the tread, which is still in great shape. These sell for $177.00 each new from Coker. Due to the blemishes in the sidewalls, I am asking $150.00 for the set or best offer. I am located in southwestern Connecticut. I would prefer local pickup as the cost of shipping would probably not be cost effective, but I can ship ups if you are interested and out of the area. I can wrap 2 tires together and ship as 2 - 40lb packages. UPS would probably run around 80$ based on what I just paid to have 4 similar size tires shipped to me.
