Paint Saver Guard -The solution to A/C compressor oil slinging- I was looking for one of these and found they had been discontinued (sold out) at all the usual vendors,so we researched it
and decided to fab up a few-
A simple metal shield that keeps the nasty oil line off your hood-
Critical, and greatly appreciated if you've suffered the dreaded Air Conditioned hood paint blister syndrome as I have....
For those of you with Air Conditioned cars ....it's not a matter of whether- it's a matter of when you'll see the first small, tell tale, blistering on the compressor side of your hood - next stop, Body shop...
If you've just restored your ride- get one on before it starts!
