Fuller Emerson & Stant Reproduction Gas Caps, 1958-1962

New Product, just released! This is a reproduction of a non vented Fuller Emerson gas cap which was used mostly on 1958 to 1962 Chevrolet Corvettes. It is made of cadmium plated steel and original paper gasket with brass spring.This is a must buy for those who have their vechiles judged at NCRS meets.

Top Flight Reproductions also has a reproduction Stant Gas Cap which can be used on 1958 to early 1962 Corvettes according to the NCRS Judging Manual. Made of cadmium plated steel with original paper gasket and brass spring. This cap has been judged at NCRS Meets with zero deductions.

Gas Caps??
Have any of these 58-62 F/E caps been judged non original and received deductions at any NCRS events?
Please advise. I am interested in one, but want to be sure it is an exact replacement.

for those that will be in Carlisle we will have both caps at location IB-62. Ask for Dave Strickland and he can show you the caps in person

Cap stolen
I was at Carlise, and my original cap was stolen from my 58, along with 13 others (6 were under the tent!). Keep your eyes out for someone selling a bunch of original caps. First time I've ever had a problem up there.

I had one stolen off my 1960 under the Reunion tent at Carlisle. Looking for a NOS or excellent FE cap as replacement. Because I have mostly original parts, would like to keep it original but might consider a repro cap.
