I have a set of the small block staggered bolt aluminum valve covers with the corvette script on them, these are new in the original GM boxes, they look like they have never been installed, the boxes have a little paint overspray on them, kinda like they have been sitting in a body shop for a while. I did a little research on these and it looks like they would be correct for 55 thru late 59, on the higher hp and fuel injected engines of those years only. They have no holes for oil breather etc. and both covers have the same part number. The part number stamped on the inside of each cover is 3726086. The corvette script letters are approx. 1/8" tall on the casting. I was going to use these in a glass cased display of old corvette parts, but if someone can use these, especially if they are hard to find, I would like to see them put on a nice restoration.
