Default Broken repro mirror

OK I blew it. I decided I wanted a right side rear view mirror. I put one on the car, but it was weird without the magnifying mirror in it.

No problem... I got a magnifying mirror and had it cut to fit the repro mirror. Cool....

Unfortunately, in the time the mirror was in the glass shop, I lost the big "e ring" that holds the glass in.

Does anyone have a broken outside repro rearview mirror? I'll buy the ring if you have one laying around. I can't believe I lost it...

Default Mirror retainer

RF,

A fellow Forum member stepped up recently and gave me a steering box bolt when I was needing one. May have a retaining ring I'll give you...provided I can find it....LOL. Give me a call tomorrow 405-691-8560 or email restomike@cox. Believe it's 7 hour difference in time as I'm in Oklahome. Would like to pay it forward to a retired Marine....in honor of my Dad.

Now that's what I call cool ! In this day of greed, it's good to see someone simply do something nice for someone in need. You made my day.

Default Whoops

Let's try this again. Did not give you my complete email adddress.... It's restomike@cox.net. Email me again and if you can send image of mirror you're needing retainer ring. :cheers.

Default Mirror retaining ring

RF,

Sorry for the delay....retaining ring went into the mail this morning. You owe me nothing. The only thing that is required of you is "Pay it foreword". Only you have the power to make this happen.

Regards,
RestoMike
