I have a good used radiator from my old 65, but if your restoring the Vette why not go with a Dewitts date coded radiator?

Default thanks

thanks for the reply and by the way I am in kansas and sorry about the profile. I will check into the dewitt radiator and I assume you have had good experience with them and I am curious what is kind of the going rate on a dated one and where is the best place to buy in your opinion? I will google it later also, thanks d

Default 65 Radiator

I bought a 65 Radiator for my car and since have got quite an education from NCRS members as to why no one usually messes with original radiators.

Even if they don't leak they just don't cool like they should. After so many years they lose some of their thermal abilities.

The DeWitts dated radiator is the norm. They go for about $850. They are also very reliable.

I decided not to use my Jan 65 dated radiator and will buy a DeWitts.

Got a good original but dated March 1965. What is the build date of your car?
