These carburetors were stock equipment in the 1966 model year only, for the 327 ci 300 hp and 350 hp small block Corvette. They are known for their reliability and resilience. This is a rebuilt and refurbished carburetor. Holley list 3367 and Chevy part number 3884505 for a 327/300hp and 350hp car date stamped “653” (6=1966, 5=May, 3=3rd week). This is appropriate for a late May, or June or July '66 Corvette with either 300 hp or 350 hp.
This was removed from a 1966 350 hp Corvette, and rebuilt, then reinstalled for a short time. It ran very well and the finish is very good. This is a nice carb for a nice Mid-Year Vette!!!
