For sale, a complete and correct L78 1965 396 motor. Motor was built approximately one year ago by Competition Engines here in New Jersey. Dyno'd at 475 HP it has only a dozen or so test miles on it. All key components are correct; 962 4 bolt block, 208 heads, intake, etc.. all dated June 1965. Early July pad date. Engine is complete... carb to oil pan... not included are starter, exhaust manifolds and TI distributor (point distributer is available). I might also be able to include a correct flywheel, clutch and pressure plate as well as a set of correct green ring spark plugs!!
I have pictures and complete mechanical specifications of all machine shop work as well as results of dyno testing.
