Default 65 Vette parts For Sale

Hi All,

NOTE: Must've had a senior moment here. The price on the 3 heads is not $650.00, but $350.00

Well, decided to clean out my basement & garage. Need to start a "Hope Chest" as a down payment for a 5 speed & maybe another motor. Items not sold here will be on Fleabay.

All my prices are + actual shipping costs. Please ask questions on this as I have taken pics and can provide. If you're within driving distance to SE Michigan, you'll save shippin' big time.

So, here's the parts I have:

Complete heater/blower assembly, including cables and a good heater core. This unit worked without issue b/4 removing. The only part you will need to get is the carboard type resistor that bolts onto the box. Can send you pics of this. $200.00. This came out of my '5 when I added Classic Auto Air. Here's a couple of pics---- SOLD!!

1 Spindle support bracket $60.00

1 Brake caliper mounting bracket $50.00

A replacement copper/brass radiator for a small block, non-air car. Removed from my '5 when I added Classic Auto Air. No leaks, just not enough heat disipation with the added air. $75.00.

Original from my '5 factory shifter including handle, rods and levers. Needs to be gone through. Pics upon request. $75.00. SOLD!

Brand new Hurst Handle w/a scuffed white ball. $20.00. This came with the Hurst Competition shifter and I chose to use the factory look-a-like handle. This Hurst handle is the straight up type, not curved. SOLD!

Very nice interior rear view mirror. Has very good chrome back and mirror/glass nice. $30.00. This is not my original mirror but a replacement. Is not a day/night mirror but the base type. Just the mirror, no bracket.

The original steering wheel (plastic) with a few cracks. $50.00. SOLD!!

Three 461' heads. All are the small valve 1.94 type. 2 of these heads were original to my '5. 1 of these 2 had weld work. The 3rd head has screw in studs and guide plates. The head dates are: B265 & C015 and A205. These heads have no valves or springs...bare. All 3 for $350.00. These are heavy so if you can pickup, you're going to be ahead.

Here's the head with weld work:

Here's its mate that was on the '5:

and here's the head with screw in studs and guide plates:

Front stabilizer/shock with brackets and hardware off my '5. $100.00

My original alternator (37 Amp) which was rebuilt internally 5 years ago. No issues, works fine, just doesn't put out enough with the added air. $75.00. This comes with the correct, factory alternator brace/mount. Note, the original pulley is off because I initially used this alternator and subsituted a deep groove pulley when I converted from a 300 horse to a 365 horse 327. You get it all. SOLD!!

Replacement glove box liner, nice! $10.00.

3 rain gutters that bolt on the inside of a '65 or '66 big block hood. 2 of these are black in very good condition and 1 has been chromed (hot rod??). All 3 for $20.00 AND I'll throw in a set of pitted chromed vents that bolt to the outside of these hoods. These vents have the hardware as well. SOLD!

1 set of 4 '65 hubcaps...driver quality, some dents. $100.00 SOLD!

Well, thats it for now. As mentioned, I can provide additional pics.

Thanks for looking! I've added some pics above.

Regards,

Jim

Dave,

I believe we are blessed. Thanks to all the prayers and support, Mary met with the oncologist on Friday and the outlook is very promising. Mary's still kinda' sore from the surgery but her mental outlook is a lot brighter. This oncologist has given her HOPE. She's got a rough road ahead as she'll go through chemo and radiation...will start that in 2 weeks.

Thanks for your thoughts and prayers.

Regards,

Jim

I've added a pic of the alternator to the original thread above. And, for you NCRS types the following is on this alternator:

On the backside, on the Diode reads: 1959455, then underneath that # the letters D-R and underneath that 5MF

Stamped on top where the bracket bolts to the alternator is: 1100693 37A and underneath that is: 5B 7 12V NEG

Thanks!

Jim
