65-65 power antenna

I have a new reproduction power antenna for a 65 or 66 Corvette. I purchased this antenna a few years ago for my 65 coupe, but sold it before installing the new antenna. Do you still have it?

Is the black tip a protective cover (i.e. is the tip stainless steel, chrome or plastic?)?

Does it have the annular groove just below the top of each mast section?

It's sold, pending receipt of payment. The tip is chrome, just like the shaft of the antenna. I think the picture just is a trick of light.
