Default 65 vette 327/350 HP motor

First off I would like to say HI!! I'm new here, from Meriden, Kansas. I'm a 67-72 truck guy, I bought this truck and numbers say its a 65 327/350 HP motor. I know nothing about the motor, truck has sat since 92. I'm wondering what its worth was thinking $1200. Numbers on front of block are 19J269043 V0527HV. I've taken off the alt and brackets and motor pullies and fan. I'll be home later this evening and will try to answer ??'s then. I can email pics of it to anyone asking. I'm not sure how to post pics on here. Thanks Randy

From the few numbers that you have provided the engine you have is unfortunately not from a ’65 or a Corvette. If you had provided the casting number and the casting date it would be easier to determine just what it did start life as.

I suspect it was a from a full size 1969 Chevy passenger car with a 350 and automatic transmission.

I guess I must of been misinformed my another guy who looked up the numbers for me. I can't get to the numbers on the back of the block, its still in the truck. Sorry for any inconvience, Thanks Randy
