meanest muffler for 67 390 hp??

Aloha from Maui...just bought a 67 390 coupe that's too quiet.....what's the meanest sounding replacement mufflers I can put on and still be street legal??

I love the sound of good old Flowmaster 40 series mufflers.

If you want LOUD go with Allens under car chambered exhaust.

i agree with crw41. I have a chambered exhaust on my L79, and it sounds bad!

Aloha..can I install it myself on my lift??......does it come with the chrome tailpipes?? I went to their site...looks pretty mean...like a long straight pipe......Mahalo from Maui........Gregg

I'm going with the Allen's 2 1/4" undercar chambered w/2 1/2" exhaust tips...sounds like they'll do the trick...I'll let you know when I get them on....Jim at Allens said they're like the N11 and sound like sidepipes but the noise isn't below the door.........Gregg
