Default WTB Jack and handle

After poking around my car, I realized I don't have a jack or handle for it. Doesn't need to be date coded or anything, just something I can use if I get a flat. Seems as though these things go for big bucks on Ebay
If someone knows of a cheaper alternative, I am also open to that as well.

Thanks,
John

Default Jack

Hi John,

Dave from MN here. Hope all is well. If you are trying to find the "correct" jack for your '65, the serial number of the car will provide you the info you need. Early '65 cars had the Type I jack with a handle that had no holes, the middle cars had the Type II jack with a handle that had one hole and the Type III jack was used after VIN 20,000 and the handle had two holes.

You can buy repos for $150, but originals are going to cost $400 or more for really nice ones. Let me know if you want more info, or documentation on the above.

By the way, I wouldn't actually use one of these correct jacks if I had a flat.

Thanks, I'll look into repros. I don't need a correct jack.
