Default Looking for a '59 frame or rolling chassis

Looking for a '59 frame or rolling chassis, will consider other years if they are a direct swap. Any leads would also be appreciated. I'm in So Cal, but will consider travelling to pick-up or shipping options. TIA Wes

Default C1 frame available

I have a C1 frame that I would like to sell. I used it to mock up my 59 body for a tube frame setup. It needs work. The front frame horns are bent and the rear crossmember is rusted out. Typical rust in the rear wheel kickup areas. The X crossmember, shock crossmember and side rails are good. Most brackets etc are there as well as rear springs. Had it sandblasted and primed when I bought it. I want $750 for the frame and I am in St Louis, MO. I have digital pictures if your interested.

I have a friend here that has the front crossmember and some other suspension parts also.

I'm going to have my frame checked Monday and see if it is repairable.

Owen, if my frame can't be repaired, your rolling chassis sounds like something I might be interested in. Does it still have the steering box? Is the frame in Canada?

Phil, thank you for the offer, but I'm looking for a frame that doesn't need any repair.

Thanks again, Wes

Hello,

Frame is from a California car. It was taken apart in the early 1970's. No rust or damage ever. No steering box, no shocks, no motor mounts. just a really nice frame that needs a body. Frame is in Canada, but I can have it brought as far as Portland, OR for a fee. Thanks oWEN

Wes I think you know I'm saving for a Jim Meyer IFS... so if you're interested I'll be selling my complete front end. Gordon

Owen,

Just got back from the frame shop, and it looks like my frame will be salvageable. I may need to replace the left frame horn though. Thank you for the offer.

Gordon, I would be interested in your bolt-in crossmember and suspension pieces. Are you also going to be selling your steering column/box? Are they out of your car at this time? Please email me at migtek@hotmail.com or call me at (626) 347-5052. I'm now somewhat torn between staying original, or going with a Jim Meyer's front end like you.

Default Steering Column

Wes,
If you need a steering column, let me know. I have a couple, with and without the steering box too.

Default 61 rolling chassis

We have a complete 61 rolling chassis
with steering box and linkage and
motor mounts.
It will need the rear cross member replaced and the radius rods mounts repaired.
Front suspension is all there
Rear suspension is all there with orginal springs
Emergency brake is mostly there
Transmission mount and cross member is there.

We took the body off to put it on a tube frame so all the chassis is left over. $3500 and its in Tulsa Oklahoma

Thanks Scott
