Hard-Tops are a "PITA" ; only way Roadsters SHOULD be driven is with top down Mine's in the way all Summer, then I bolt it on when "Cruise Season" is over just to keep from tripping over it BUT...if I would sell it for $2500, I feel that it would lower the total value of the '62 by $5K

Default you reall think they increase the value by 5K

since i agree they are a pain, and the only time i put the one on my 65 was when i sold the car.

IF the top HAS to be up, it DOES look better with the hard-top than the soft-top There HAVE been a few gear-heads who attend some of the same Cruises that I do, tell me - after seeing me being FORCED to put the roof up due to a sudden thunderstorm - "I NEVER knew you had a top for this!". Even when the temp drops to 45 degrees or so after a Cruise has ended, I REFUSE to put the top up for the drive home

Does a '60 hard top fit '58 or '61? I have a nice red one that needs the rear plastic glass. G.

56 - 60 tops interchange. I believe the 56 has differences in the some of the trim parts. 61 62 tops different, they are shaped to follow the body lines of the 61/62 and have different rear mounting points.

I have a friend that has a 56 top he will sell. I believe he wants $1,800 for it. It is red, needs to be painted. glass looked good. That is about all I remember. If you are interested let me know and I will shoot you his email.
