Default Got my Bilstien shocks yesterday...

I just can't get over the blue dust boots though. Has anyone painted thiers? I'm not sure what type of paint will adhere to the dust boot or am I worried about nothing... Thanks guys... Dave..

If you want to change the color use a Sharpie or permanent laundry marker. Paint will flake off of the slick boot material.

Dave, this sounds like it should work. You could borrow my wife's pink Sharpie, if you would like.

I second the motion. Definitely the way to go. Wish I'd thought of that for my Bilsteins.

I srayed the metal black and hit the tops with a black sharpe. The shocks have been on the car for a year now and still look good. Color aside they are great shocks they realy improved the ride and feel of the car.
