Default Gas Door Assembly - Where to buy just the latch

I'm missing the small plastic latch and screw for my 67 vert gas door assembly. The screw isn't a big deal, but I've just searched my LIC, Corvette Central, Zip, Eckler's, and Mid-America catalogs, and it doesn't look like any of them sell just the latch...it's 70.00 bucks for a new assembly.

Any hints on who might have one or would sell just the latch, with or without the machine screw?

Thanks,

Bob

I have a good used one. I had to buy the whole assembly due to corroded rivets on the bottom of my gas door assembly. I saved the plastic latch, screw, and spring. My vette is a 65, I would think they're the same. If you want it, it's yours for the cost of postage and a wave on the road.

A big thanks to BayRay - he sent the latch assembly up from lovely GA (he even spotted me the postage) to getting-lovely RI and it saved me a huge hassle. Jimbo has it right - this is a greay viritual community. I hope to make out to Carlisle this year to meet some Forum members (besides the locals) in person.

Thanks again BayRay  :D :D :D :D
