Old Chevrolet/Corvette Dealers
I am trying to locate whoever is the successor to Don Allen Chevrolet 2245 N Miami Av, Miami, Fl.
This is the dealer that originally sold my car, and I am hoping the possibly they might have some old records.
I know this is a shot in the dark, but thought that I would try anyway.
Thanks for any help.
The 66 made it to BG, Nashville and back in fine order. Who says they are not for driving?

Given that you have an address you could look for Cehevrolet dealers in Miami. Or, go to http://www.ncrfs.org and enter this information and do a search. Good luck. Most dealers destroyed any documentation decades ago. I tried the same thing and no lukc at all.

I always wondered about the auto haulers. Maybe some of the transporters out of Saint Louis kept their original shipping records. They could have had serial numbers and the dealer the car was delivered to.

Dear Frac
Don Allen Chevrolet is no longer in business however I was able to locate the original service writer for the dealership and hes in Miami still , Hes 86 years old now but extremely helpful and sharp. He was able to remember with 99 % certainty who bought the factory air convertible 63 stingray I own. I am planning to meet him again please e-mail me details on your car and I will ask him , I dont want to give his info away without his permission.
Don Allen Chevrolet was known for selling corvettes . the DMV in FL like many other states now does not keep records past 10 years.

WHO keeps bringing these ancient threads back TTT, as they say?
Do I/we now have to check posting dates before we respond?
Moderators? Whatcha think?
Should "ancient" threads just be automatically locked after some period of time?
