No info, but it looks like a real ground pounder!
I wonder if numbers matching means origional to the seller?
If so, could go quite a bit higher?
Saw a neat 67 L88 at the HB show 2 weeks ago....
It was the real deal! Owner was cool too.
If I only liked C3's...... I feel like I am in a cave or something.
And the foot room, feels like they are being wedged in those things.
None the less, very  car!

427 Mitch, I know the car has the wrong motor in it. As far as authenticity goes I am not sure about this one. They do not mention anything about paperwork. Again this does not mean that it is not authentic but the phrase buyer beware comes to mind.

The only thing I can add is the interior looks light saddle, and I don't think that color was availible untill about '73, the saddle for '69 is like a light chocholat.

Sort of a funny combination of options, L88 vert, power windows, no hardtop, no radio, (of course), doesn't make a lot of sense to me.

...i would staty away from ANY alleged L88, there is a LOT of fraud in this segment of the market and i would walk away from the car unless it is heavily, heavily documented....i don't care WHAT anyone says about the car, show me the money

Ad says same owner last ten years. This car was in Knoxville a few months ago. Supposed to be owned by a local dealer at that time. Maybe he just had it on consignment. The asking price was $125,000!! I never got a chance to look closely. It looked pretty good sitting in the back corner of a dark garage. I would want to very careful as has already been stated.

Note to self!!!!!!
When dealing with Kruise International, remember that they are no more then a used car dealer, only they don't own the cars they are selling. They are the last one's you should rely on to provide accurate information on any car they are selling. Again, remember, they are only a broker. and will not warrent that any info about a car they are selling is correct.

There was a thread over at the NCRS board about this car. The general consensus from the people who know this car is that it is a total and complete fake. The car has been listed at several auction houses and has been removed from the auction bloch when the car's history came to light.

Yup you got that right..... we agree again. I just can't see spittin up the kind of money people want for these allegidly ultra rare cars. Just plain crazy. All the fraud, million dollar cars....not this guy. The documentatin would have to weigh as much or more than the car before I would even think about gettin in that market. what with all the registry groups out there ya would think there would be almost no way to get hosed on an L88 !!!!! Somebody always "finds" another one somewhere and it appears on the radar. The sad thing is that people spend big money and get hosed. There ain't no free lunch...likely there ain't even a cheap lunch.

Thank You very much John.
The price did sound too good to be true - particularly after I was told the present owner purchased the car 3 months ago for $73,000 and is willing to sell it now for $65,000.
