A post was made about what color to paint a vette.....Other then RED :banghead: This sparked the Question ..Whats wrong with red??
So let's see how many red vetts are here.

I voted Red because we're in C1 & C2 Discussion. If we were in C5 Discussion, I'd vote Black! :lol:

I haven't seen too many vettes that I didn't like regardless of color but I must admit I'm partial to RED. I think that's one of the hardest decisions to make (choosing a color) when restoring a Corvette.

My 65 Coupe is Silver, it's not the best looking color on a mid year car. A mid year car should be a bright color.

If I have a chance to buy another midyear, I want a Black one with a '65 Big Block hood and Side Pipes.

RED< I have had Blue, Black Silver, and of COURSE YELLOW on C5's but

RED on MID YEAR, of course I partial to RED and YELLOW.

All Corvettes are RED, but some develop their own style. :seeya

Both my C1 and C2 are red. Neither was a factory red car, but if they were the factory colors, I'd have to paint them red.

(BTW, that's the license plate on the 97 C5 - "AC AR" - especially since the original owner of this particular car was Jim Schefter, the gent who wrote the book! :D

mid-year crisis

well, I bought my '65 partly because it was "arrest me" Riverside Red...is it a bad thing if I'm changing the red interior to black??....once I go to black..I won't BE ABLE to go back......... :lol: :lol:
