I have red interior in one and black in the other. If I had it to do over, they'd both be red.
BTW, it is permissable for Vettes to be black or white, but only if they have red interior. :auto:

I have to say over all the best color to me is yellow but I do not care for the yellow mid years and find that red is the best color TO ME for a mid year. Dont ask how all 3 turned out to be red...

My '58 is red & white w/red interior; the 64 is red w/black interior. Both look fine.

Actually the Government, in the 50s and 60s mandated all manufacturers of high performance sports cars to paint at least 70% red! Makes them easier to spot for the cops in order to help subsidize the budgets of small rural towns like Concrete, Washington!! Apparently they have very few other means of raising revenue. :cuss :auto:

Red is great, but Nassau Blue and Marina Blue are my favorite. They are such a deep color you think you could jump into it for a swim. They say blue make you tired, and red makes you hungry, so what color makes you horny? Find that color and paint the car with it. May have women jumping out at you like deer on the highway.

This is true just about anywere. 90% of Traffic tickets are for some absurd rule. Just a means to tax the public. That does not bother me as much as the fact that your insurance goes up because of it. You get screwed once, then it's like an open invitation for their friends to do the same. I have tried to fight traffic tickets. That is a waste of time.

For some reason when I'm looking at corvettes for sale adds, if it ain't red and 67.... I don't bother to look at the price.... It might have something to do with the small amount of American Indian blood I have in me :)

You are in good company--my 67 ragtop is its ORIGINAL :thumbs: color, Goodwood Green with a saddle interior. Funny that Goodwood Green was the single most popular Vette color in 67 but there are so many red cars today. :skep: Hmmm, guess our three are the only 67s that haven't been cycled thru ProTeam! :lolg: :lolg: :lolg:

I sure didn't seem that way to me, Tom, when I looked for two long, long years for a decent Goodwood Green ragtop before finding one. It made it harder that I took the high road by looking for green as the top coat, not as an undercoat for red! :lolg:
