Vent window grease
Several helpful articles available on rebuilding the vent window regulators but don't see any reference to what is the best grease to use.
Original is very sticky and sort of a greyish white color.
What is recommended type to use?

I don't know what the "correct" grease is, but when I rebuilt my regulators about a year ago, they appeared to have a white lithium grease in them that was pretty well dried out. I used the same grease I use for ball joints, u-joints, etc, this stuff :

Grease
I just finished rebuilding my vent regs and decided to stick with the “correct” white lithium grease even though it’s nowhere near as good as the Lucas product (or the numerous red NLGI 2 greases that are available).
If you’re thinking about judging, you have to beware of the judge with a small
mirror and flashlight who might detect the wrong grease. On mine, they would see the screws holding the cover on the regulator instead of the factory staking, though, so it’s non-original anyway.
