I had the opportunity to have lunch with oldvetteguy84 (Tim) on Saturday. He has a 1967 that he brought back from the dead - doing all the fiberglass work himself. I was amazed at his craftsmanship. After lunch, he took my dad and I back to his place to show us his garage/work area. He just finished a Vintage Air install and had an extra heater and other bits he was willing to part with. Such a fun get together! We’re looking forward to doing it again!

When I first was getting into Corvettes, I was worried that I would only meet a bunch of stuck up rich guys. While I’m sure they’re around, I have been pleasantly surprised to not have found many - just a bunch of car guys who love the look, the feel, the experience of owning a true masterpiece.

I wish I would have gotten more pics. Here is the only one I snagged just as we headed home. Thanks again for the great time Tim.

You are so right about guys being, just car guys. We have a group, The Loose Lugnut Gang" here in my area and we do lunch or rides. Dennis

Yes, just hanging out was the best. Unfortunately all the guys around me have either left Kalifornia or sold their cars….. luckily, my son likes to take the cars out with me also.

Sure enough!! Sorry, this one has been around the block before....a few times. Been a Corvette club member now for 31 years.
