Terminations for the grounds are group terminated inside the shielding housing (4 grounds per side) under the cover that houses the distributor! It can get a little tight getting to the distributor to set timing. My (NO RADIO) 67 does not have this setup!
See your Assembly Manual, section U69, sheet A11.

Hard to see in this picture but I gather the 4 leads up from the plug wires and include a homemade lead with an eyelet terminal on one end and an alligator clip on the other end. The 4 plug wire leads and the extension are secured together with a small screw and nut and the alligator clip fastens to the stud on the side shielding supports. That way I just have to fasten the alligator clip on the stud instead of fooling with 4 spark plug wire leads and a nut.

Here are the spark plug wire brackets on each side of the distributor for 427s. The threaded studs are where the braided end-eyes are attached. The other spark plug ends are attached in pairs to specific valve cover bolts. Can't recall exactly which bolts on which side but I'm sure others can post pics.
