[C1] Door lock

Melting Slicks
Behind the lock **** is an omega shaped clip. One needs a tool that fits between the **** and door panel that will release the clip and the **** then can be pulled off.

There is a C-shaped clip between the lock **** and the door panel which must be removed. You need a special tool, pictured below and readily available at your FLAPS, to push that clip out of the way.
In use you put the tool between the lock **** and the door panel and push against the clip. Window cranks and inside door handles are removed in the same manner.

You could also do this with a rag: https://www.google.com/search?q=car+...TN7e9WFknGFMq_

If you don’t give up, the rag will catch the clip eventually. Move it like you’re polishing the tip of a shoe and rotate it around the **** until it catches the end of the clip.
just so you know, putting the ***** back on, insert the clip on the **** and push it in and it’ll snap back in place you don’t have to slide it over the shaft like it came off.
