Default Vintage air

Does any one have pictures of the area below the glove box in a C2 after installing the Evaporator Sub Case. I am interested in how far it hangs below the bottom of the glove box door.

Maybe not the best photo because the kit comes with a plastic horizontal duct that runs along the bottom of the glovebox and extends down to just about cover that black bolt and silver washer.

Here's a photo of mine with the plastic horizontal duct that runs along the bottom of the glovebox in place. My camera was on top of the seat to get this view . . . you really don't notice it that much when you're sitting in the seat and it doesn't affect the foot room!

Mine looks the same as Tom's does....Tom I do have a question....does the belt on your Vintage Air unit sometimes rub on the lower radiator hose?

T . . . no, never! The distance between the belt and the lower radiator hose on my car is @ 1.5 inches - plenty of gap!

You may have your lower hose installed backwards...it's very easy to do and the lower hose will rub.

All good. I know it’s on correctly, the arrow on the hose points towards the RAD. I can see how people could make that mistake.

My VA compressor was noticeably loose, and has since been tightened. After changing to a hose with spring inside it, I placed a shield on the rad hose to see if the belt is still hitting it like it did when the compressor was loose.
