This is stinking cool Doug. The car's gorgeous, but the phrase on the bill of sale "with his parent's permission" is priceless. I immediately had images of my dad shaking his head... nope..... nope... on similar requests. Love it. Larry

Beautiful car - the paperwork tells a great story. Thanks for sharing that.

well, I fibbed a bit to Steve about having my parents permission...
About 4 1/2 months after I bought it, they went on vacation, and when they came back, the car was in our driveway. It took me that long to pay the $250 balance, get it derivable, while working on it at the sellers 'barn". They didn't say a word about the car when they walked in the house.
Pic of the "barn" attached. Right where I am standing, is where the car sat from when i first saw it about Nov, 1973, until i drove it home. Pic taken in 2016, Helena, MT.

I have been busy with a couple other cars.
Here is the latest: 1988 Jag XJS H&E convertible to get a 479" BBC motor shortly.
The PO already cut up the hood, so i won't feel bad about putting an air cleaner clearance bump/scoop in the middle of the hood.
Motor is basically an L72, but with 4.5" bore (Bow Tie block), and high lift hyd roller cam.
