Default Looking for a metal defroster box for c1

Working on my project and looking for a metal defroster box instead of the cardboard.I am figuring they are hard to come by but thought I would give it a shot before trying to make one. Anyone have drawings? Mine is pretty shot!
Thanks

When putting my ‘56 together we made the defroster box out of fiberglass. I don’t recall anyone selling anything in fiberglass or metal.

Corvette central sold reproduction metal ones back in the early 2000s.

Having a cardboard one apart for a template and a metal break would make a easy project

I found a template somewhere and made one...it seemed like rocket surgery at the time, but it really wasn't.

I made one from an FRP sheet and used the metal innards from the crappy cardboard original. Worked great!
