Default Track build on a 67 coupe ground up on TV

I watched a great program tonight on "Carolina Customs" on the MT TV channel. They start with a 67-body with no engine or chassis and put together a track car from hell. It has an LSX engine with a supercharger and a 6-spd sequential transmission. They found a racing frame and put in an all-new racing suspension. New instruments and painted red. Watch it to see what money is no object can look like.

I couldn’t believe those huge tires/wheels would ever fit without fender modifications. They didn’t say how that was done. Just dropped up the body!

My DVR recorded it last night. The car is very impressive. It looked like they were taking it easy breaking the motor in. The only issue I see is the lack of a front spoiler.

Didn't show hardly any of the build. It just magically came together. Track car? Why, because they called it one? Looked like a common resto mod. So now all resto mods are track cars. Didn't like the god-awful powder coat on frame....too blingy. Wheel and tire combo was off, couldn't put my finger on it. Almost like the rear tires were shorter profile. Anyways at least the owner liked it. Builders and Owners taste is in their mouth

Another TV big budget build show. If my car broke down in front of these shops I would push it away and call for a tow.
