Default Met The Boys For Lunch!

With temps here in Maryland in the 50's this weekend, Bluestripe67 (Dennis K) decided it was time get some of the gang together for the 1st outing of the year. So, he planned a quick lunch at a new spot for us . . . the Lone Oak Farm Brewing Company just outside Olney, MD. Five of us were able to attend today (it would have been 5 cars but Chris' red '65 is still out of commission for a quick repair). Don was able to make it in his gorgeous '67 coupe. The best part is that Dennis invited a "surprise guest" - Andy - who he had met last Fall @ a location near his house. Andy was able to come and bring his '66 427/425 big block that he's had for just a few years. The cool part is that this car is still in the "family" as it was bought new by his grandfather who lived in Colorado and had drag raced it there for years in the late 60" and early 70's!. It's mostly original - original paint with lots of cool "patina" - just a really cool car and cool owner! Great drive to/from on some windy country roads!!! What a way to start the '24 cruisin' season!

Great job of taking advantage of finally getting a couple of warm winter days without precipitation.

Very cool! How was the Lone Oak Farm Brewing Company?
I think I drive past there on my way to Tony's Corvette Shop.

YEP! . . . it's on 108 just outside Olney - on the way to Tony's. The place was cool - very neat timber frame building - and the lot was packed - lots of families. Only Dennis had a brew - he said it was very good. Limited menu for lunch, but we were there for the chit chat!
