I dont worry about my car. I don't even lock the doors. I do roll up the windows in case of rain.
I use common sense and have good insurance..
I legally carried a weapon for 45 years(for work) and no one ever knew I was armed. Most people get into trouble with firearms.
It goes to their head. They want people to know they carry. There is vanity involved with some who carry. Years ago if
you shot someone ,it was not as big of a deal as it is today. Lawyers and the pursuit of money has changed things. Even
though you may be in the right and not held responsible , you can get sued by the bad guy and/or his family.
Remember its a Corvette but it is just a car that can be replaced.

Here's the truth. Use a gun to kill somebody trying to steal your car and the bullet will insure he never drives again. Use a gun to kill somebody trying to steal your car and the courts will insure you never drive again.

Use a X’Acto to pry off the metal cover and take the battery out.Use the X’Acto to pry out the inner plastic part and the speaker is in the middle.Pop it out and reassemble. There are several You Tubes that show how to do it.

I have guns and would use them to save my life or the life of another but I wouldn't ruin my life and my families lives shooting somebody over a car.
Shoot them and become a member of their wretched world?
Desire is the root of all suffering.

Yes, you are allowed to protect your home and vehicles with deadly force.

First of all, welcome to the Forum. Glad to have you here. Secondly, most folks will tell you the determined professional thief will get it even if he has to tow it onto a flatbed and haul it away. If you're thinking of something simple, how about popping the distributer cap and take out the rotor? That would work to frustrate an amateur thief.

John

If the thief owns an iPhone and there is an AirTag following them (that is not their AirTag), an alert is also generated on their iPhone letting them know they are being tracked. https://www.zdnet.com/article/how-to...-tracking-you/

A man in Houston shot and killed an armed robber of a taqueria as he was walking out the door. I believe shot him in the back. Grand jury did not indict him. The robber had a plastic pistol.

Kens78,
A respectfully agree with your response; however, please note the mindset of the powers to be are night and day different between Fla & Ca.
