Wow that's a nice looking 64!! Whoever wrote the ad could have done a much better job of it though. That is the first time I've see an ad bring up how often vin & trim tags car be faked on C2's. Then show pristine looking tags still welded like they are supposed to be on a 64...

Then he should have said that the car is the last of an era that still had the nice craftsmanship of the multi piece carpets, stitched door panels & intricate guages, before the GM acountants cheapened the look of the interior with molded carpets & door panels, & generic guages that ran the rest of the C2 generation in an effort to reduce costs.

Not much of a salesman I guess?? He must have a 65-67 & not be able to stop himself...

How does that vin# plate look. Never seen one so misaligned. Very glossy and hard to see the rivets. Nice looking car though. Mark

The 64 does not use rivets on the VIN tag.

Ebay auction ended, Buy It Now was $55,950, high bid was $41,100. If we're going to run it through the mill, the A pillar weatherstrip looks bad, as noted the brake pedal is from a PB car. Looks like the hood release handle is off. Possible manual choke cable?

But much nicer than how mine looks after almost 6 years.
