SRIII Chassis C7 Upper Shock Mount Modification
The uppoer shock mounts on the SRIII chassis with the C7 suspension option use a 1/2 eyelet bolt bushing at the top instead of the C7 style upper shock mounts.
Has anyone modified the upper shock mounts to the C7 style, so the chassis can accommodate stock C7 shocks?
If so, can you share details and pics?
Thanks!
John

Your chassis uses coil-over shocks, C7 Corvettes use leaf springs. If you put C7 shocks on your car, you won't have any springs. So that's a no-go.
Sorry if you are implying something that I didn't understand...

You would be taking a step backwards and require additional work to figure out the spring configuration.

[QUOTE=Stingxray;1607380507] He's the most knowledgeable & approachable aftermarket frame vender of the bunch (IMO). Many times Mike has helped me with the 67's chassis. That's my recommendation , considering all his engineering and development is involved. Good luck . GR
Totally concur with that - would have preferred to use an SRII chassis for my build for that reason alone were it not for the lead time....
