Looking at a different cat in the bag.
I know this one has the wrong hood, but I like it.
Not org motor, but OK. Good to see the trans was overhauled.
It has the 3.73 rear end. How do I know the engine speed at 75 mph with that ratio ?
It looks like they only replaced some of the rubber bushings in the suspension and not all of them. Seems odd. Yes?
Has this one been wreck too ?
One bottom pic of the left side I think show a big white wire with a big loop. What is that all about ?
Why are the ID tag bent ? Did they bend them so they could paint in back of them and then try and flatten the ID tags again ?

At 75 MPH that will be turning around 3300-3500 RPM.

Looks like a nice clean car. The car is going to be a nice street car if coupled with an M-21. I have the same combo in my 68 L-79. I have had the car for over 50 years. When I was young, driving at 75 or 80 did not bother me, now a sustained highway drive gets old. If you are serious about the car, check the usual place such as the frame and birdcage for rot and rust. Jerry

I don't see a pic of the tags. There should be 2 under the glove box: one is the VIN (which shouldn't be bent as it sits completely supported by the dash support bar) and is held on by rosette rivets; the trim tag is taller than the support (so the top is seen bent over very frequently) and is held on by regular round pop rivets. The trim tag has the body build date indicated which should roughly coincide (within a few days) with the VIN sequence number's production schedule.

The link you provided says AU code rear, that's 3.36. How did you come up with 3.73?

70 year old retired life long farmer. Started with a foot clutch on a 8N Ford tractor about age 7-8 raking hay and then the JD A with a hand clutch when I got to about 10 years old pulling a spring tooth was my beginning. Then came the 3010 and the 4010 JD. Got to drive the 1950's pickup pulling flat bed wagon for small square bale. It had a hand throttle Dad could pull and lock it on the dash and all I had to do was steer. Clutch only used in emergency. lol. Dad would just run up and stop the pickup when needed. Those first days of driving anything in the field were exciding for a young boy.
I am sure you all have great clutch learning experience like I did.

3.70 was an option but it’s not the AU 3.36 as mentioned.

What color is it supposed to be ? Maybe it's the lighting but looks wrong for Madera maroon ?
It's a dealer, so reserve is probably up there.
