C2 of Year Finalist (track prepared) 2019
OK, I'll play....
This is my bride's track car which we had to get after she realized how much fun I was having with mine at speed. Just before she turned 60, she went though a grueling SCCA 3 day competition licensing course and earned her SCCA Competition License.
And this is mine, which got my bride wanting a track car of her own:
Together at Sacramento Autorama 2005:
My bride on track at Laguna Seca's famous "Corkscrew":
Me leading a pack down THE Corkscrew at Laguna Seca :

If we could rewind back to the mid '70's my Dad would have to list his 'company car', a Ford Torino SW (that's SW for station wagon, not split window.....) for the His....... the Hers would be the '66 Coupe, 427/425, 4.11 rear gear, side exhaust 'Grocery Getter' that our Mom hauled us kids around in.....

I'lll put 2 cents in... Her's, Her's and a 'mine'
Some of Mine...
Big Hers.
Teaching my wife how to drive her std shift... it was a short lived spectacle !!!! I probably should have at least given her a fighting chance with a synchromesh tranny.. and not some stone crusher you need to know how to dbl-clutch.
One of her other pickups. This a 40 Ply. She is happy in this picture as it was not a std shifting lesson day
And 'Little Hers'

The 57-baby bird was thee most elegant ladies' car ever built especially in that color.
Think Suzanne Sommers in American Graffiti.

I have heard ref to Ms. Sommers and the t-bird a number of times. I have actually never seen the movie. Odd for such a gear head hobbyist ! But that does not look like the Sommers I recall from the Three is Company series, or all those Fitness info-mercials. She did chg it seems. Later her face seemed more 'tight' skinned. I like this look better.
