Default 1967 Vinyl Seat Covers

My 1967 Convertible is about to need new seat and headrest covers which I'll get from Al Knoch. A local trim shop in Atlanta wants $1000 for the labor. Not sure, but I'm thinking that is high. I could also send the seats to Knoch and they would install the covers and send them back for almost half the cost but the shipping could add a few hundred more. Any thoughts on cost and any recommendations on a trim shop in Atlanta. Thanks, Peter

I was just quoted $900 in labor to do leather seat install here in the Chicago area. That is with me supplying ALL the materials and restored seat frames.

The headrest foam and covers are a cinch install, I wouldn't pay anyone an extra dime for that part of the project.

al knoch did a great job on mine. i stripped the seat frames and split them in two parts and saved a little on shipping as they weighed less and took up less space in the boxes. this is also a good time to do any refinishing on the seat frames if they need it.
