Default Taillights

Hi Everyone,
I have a 64. After driving home and shutting the car off I noticed the taillights remained on, no other lights, just the taillights. They shut off on their own and then went back on and stayed on. Don’t know if they were on while the car was running. ( using my battery disconnect so battery not on now) Anyone know what it could be?
Thanks
John

Sounds like brake lights to me. Dash lights and front park lights come on with headlight switch. I'd say the brake light switch isn't get pushed all the way off when the pedal is released.

Bingo. Lifted up the brake pedal, lights went out, thank you.

Same thing happened to me about a month ago. The brake light switch wasn't getting all the way pushed off for me as well. Fixed that and I was good to go!
