Default 1964 327 Coil to distributor wire replacement

Well my new looking hardly used packard radio coil to distributor wire broke its piece off inside. Is there anywhere I can buy this individually or do I have to buy the whole set? Whats a good solution people?

If it is a new repro from Lectric Limited, all the wires will fall apart eventually. You could get a new terminal and crimp it on, but that requires a special crimping tool.

Probably the easiest way to get a 7 mm coil wire terminal kit and a crimper.

I didn't know you could buy a single wire such as Dan posted.

This crimper is awesome, I have used mine extensively:

Aside from the loose terminals on the repro wire sets, they have extremely high resistance. A set of 7mm aftermarket wires crimped at the proper lengths is a major performance and reliability enhancement.

Default Coil Wire

Find an auto repair shop that deals with a company called "Mighty". I used to be a Mighty dealer back when I had my repair shops. They offer all types of individual ignition wires including coil wires & plug wires in all sizes, lengths and style of ends. If you could find the actual Mighty distributor, I'm sure they will be more than happy to sell you a coil wire. Look in your local phone book for "Mighty Distributing". If you're near any kind of decent sized metropolitan area, there should be a "Mighty Distributor" there.
