I saw that. That dude is seriously hauling the mail. What they do to the engine, timing and transmission internals is mind boggling. To the best of my knowledge it all appears stock.

Beautiful cars, not to mention the power those guys/gals are making is something & there is still more power to creep up on.. As I got older I can appreciate a quieter car that FLY’s down the track, well done…

I have followed them on youtube for a while now. The engines they have make big big power to run the MPH they run which is a very good indication of HP at the weight they are moving down the track. We need more of these kind of guys in the Corvette world and less "Hey that is the wrong hose clamp" and "that is not the right casting #" type of people. To run as fast as they do takes a lot of time and testing, my hats off to them!!!! What I like about their videos is that they show both good and bad. Too many channels only show the good stuff. I hope they keep posting videos I really enjoy them.

"Wrong hose clamp" ??
I would settle for guys ,going to the track and posting a 13 sec flat,
and reporting to us.
You start spending money when you get to 9 sec. and faster. This group
had serious car haulers ,like in the, $200k territory. Still, they are not in
the Pro category ,spending millions.

I'm with you, Dave. A nice 496 in a Chevy Mk IV block looks like the factory made it. If I hadn't listened to the guy that did all my restoration work, who insisted on a correct casting and date numbers motor (and even at that the hose clamp people are like, but it's not the "born with" motor). I would have done what you did.

The heck with the hose clamp people. 496 it!

Default What are the $ecret$ ?

It very hard to believe this car is mid 9 sec without a bottle hidden somewhere. But I suppose that's the point.
Everything is just a Grand Illusion

Nice build

Those guys in the FAST series are amazing and hardworking.....these cars have mega compression, mega cubes, mega lightweight trans internals and differentials, killer converters...and most of all full electronic high end traction control that pulls timing to control wheelspin. VERY impressive combinations!!
