Default Car transport within Houston area?

Hi,
I need to move 6 cars (1956 through 1972) from my storage in Clear Lake to my new home in Conroe. Most have not been driven in a few years so I’m looking for recommendations for someone who could put several at a time on a transport or three car trailer, and tow them

to the new house. Open trailer is fine. I’m hesitant to drive any of them 65 miles after sitting that long, and the big name car transport folks wanted $6.600 - so that’s not happening lol.

thank you

Jeff

Jeff call Kevin at All Coast Auto Transport at 561-288-6262. He is a broker but should be able to arrange multiple car pick up on an open trailer for you. He is not in Houston but his contacts are all over the US. If Kevin can't get it done let me know and I might have someone else who can. Congrats on getting into the new house and building.

i would just get a flat bed wrecker to move them one by one. Probably cost you $250-300 each trip.

why not rent a car trailer and move them one at a time? I’ve got a truck that can tow a car hauler if you need some help, U-haul trailer place isn’t that far away. I’m in Spring, so if you need some help send me a PM. Jeff

I wanted to thank you all for the recommendations. I followed TexasPilot’s idea and borrowed a friend's truck, rented a U-Haul trailer and moved four cars in the past 24 hours for under $300 (rental, gas, toll fees).

Two more to go but that’s for another weekend.

Final follow up for those who may have a similar need.

The last 2 cars got moved yesterday. I rented a U-Haul car trailer for two days, two weeks ago, and one day yesterday. With the rented U-Haul car trailer and a borrowed truck, we moved 6 cars for about $450 total.

U-Haul Rental - $225, Three days at around $75/day after fees and taxes
Gas for friend's truck - $150 (130-mile round trip for each car to be moved)
Tollway fees - $75

Good to hear you got them all moved safely Jeff! And cost effective to boot. They are going to enjoy their new home. You will too.
